Combining his experience in venture capital, corporate strategy, and startup building, George excels at turning disruptive ideas into reality, delivering impactful, forward-thinking solutions.

Gayle Aradanas is a multi-faceted designer and researcher with a background in Innovation, Social Impact, Retail, and Education. She holds an honour’s bachelors in Digital Experience Design and an advanced diploma in Interaction Design and Development from George Brown College. Equipped with empathy, connection, and curiosity, Gayle channels her dynamic skillset to solve wicked problems, and create intuitive experiences with beautiful interfaces within the Innovation sector.

Sarah is a highly motivated data-driven individual who has an undergraduate degree in Finance from Western University and a master’s in Business Analytics from the Ivey School of Business. Sarah brings a unique skill set with her analytics background combined with her previous work experience in strategy, which allows her to approach business problems with both a quantitative and qualitative mind-set to arrive at a well-rounded solution. Sarah enjoys being challenged and leverages her analytical and strategic background to support businesses and provide innovative solutions.

June has a breadth of experience ranging from traditional Innovation Design and Lab Creation to Business Design, Venture Design, Product Building, and Investment Strategy. Interested in bringing pilots to organizations as well as positioning them as a strong innovative player in their ecosystem, she has worked in both, start-up, and large corporate environments. Plain and simple, she has a passion for helping organizations reach their best potential.

Alexa is driven by a deep passion to thrive at the intersection of business and technology. She recently graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University with a degree in commerce. Throughout the last couple of years, she’s had the opportunity to help build products at leading Canadian companies like BMO and Interac. A dedicated builder, Alexa is known for her determination and strong drive to get the job done, no matter what it takes.

Abdulla is an innovative and results-oriented strategist with expertise in digital management, financial strategy, research, and healthcare. Holding an Honours Bachelor of Science from Western University in Medical Sciences and an MSc in Digital Management from Ivey Business School, Abdulla has successfully combined his diverse background to excel in a variety of roles at SickKids Hospital and CIBC, driving impactful solutions through his proficiency in advanced analytics and cutting-edge technologies. A highly skilled and well-traveled professional, Abdulla leverages his passions in design thinking, data analytics, financial services, and technology to deliver forward-thinking strategies that drive meaningful change.

Jonathan has a background in Mechatronic Systems Engineering from the University of Western Ontario, enhanced by some time at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany. Having worked with NASA on a year-long project, building an optics-based ranging system for JPL's Momentum Tether, Jonathan developed a passion for taking innovative concepts from ideation to MVP. His experience includes roles in Industry 4.0 Supply Chain Innovation and Production Efficiency, working to optimize processes. Jonathan is dedicated to leveraging his diverse experience to drive impactful, sustainable solutions.

Cassidy is an experienced graphic designer, blending creativity with strategic insight. With a graphic design diploma from Centennial College, a wide variety of freelance experiences, and work done at Centennial College, she excels in crafting captivating designs that resonate with audiences. Cassidy's collaborative approach and dedication to excellence ensure she delivers visually stunning solutions that exceed expectations. Passionate about staying ahead of industry trends, she brings fresh perspectives to every project.

Andrea is a highly motivated, service-oriented, and data-driven young professional that loves to put her knowledge and expertise at the service of others. Her background in project and performance management, along with a degree in Finance and Economics, allows Andrea to proficiently turn complex problems that may seem intimidating or confusing to some into something that can be useful and actionable. She thrives in challenging environments and is passionate about becoming a valuable resource in helping organizations achieve their biggest goals.

Having worked with some of the largest companies in North America as an innovation consultant, Tyler drives our global strategy and leads the way for the team, always making sure to keep things exciting, special and interesting, while staying ahead of the curve on tech and disruption models.

A decade of field experience and a masters degree in design strategy give Dani her magic touch in directing our global design efforts. While she’s responsible for making sure that everything we do always looks beautiful, it’s her ability to leverage design as a problem-solving tool that acts as a bridge between our strategy work and visual communications.

Kyle Edmonds is a motivated professional with a diverse career spanning digital strategy engagements, entrepreneurial initiatives, and industry experience within healthcare. He holds a Bachelor’s in Medical Radiation Sciences from McMaster University and a Master’s in Digital Management from Ivey Business School. Passionate about solving complex business challenges, Kyle combines Design and Systems Thinking with data-driven insights to create meaningful, innovative solutions.

Tracy’s accounting and finance background has evolved over a span of 20 years. Obtaining her BA from Wilfrid Laurier University, she leverages her CPA designation along with experience in both private practice and corporate controller roles to keep the financial and internal gears of the Disruptive Edge machine well-oiled and running smoothly.

Sporting a poli sci masters degree and experience in the financial, real estate and retail industries, Matthew confidently leads projects and engages closely with clients. Always 110% committed, he takes initiative and goes the extra mile on every task, deliverable and project.

His rich academic background as a system design engineer with additional certifications in AI, machine learning and data science, make Krishan a true expert in validating features and solutions through primary testing. He’s a UX design specialist with a deep focus on product solutions, and always impresses the team with his ability to manage complex, multifaceted challenges.

Matt's an Innovation Leader & Design Strategist with a global perspective and a knack for identifying insights and facilitating innovation in complex ecosystems. He's led design projects in >20 countries over 10+ years with experience both in-house and on the agency side. He's helped test and grow >100 products & services for F500 companies, as well as several of his own companies.

Howie Kroon is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, specializing in business development, sales, and client relationship management. He has a proven track record of driving growth and fostering strong partnerships across various sectors, including insurance, banking, and investment management.

Noel is a motivated strategist with expertise in innovation, business development, and data-driven decision-making across various industries. With a BSc in science and business from the University of Waterloo, he combines diverse experience in digital solutions, market research, and business strategy to drive growth and deliver impactful results.

Josh is a highly motivated and versatile professional with a robust background in business development, sales, and client relations. Currently a senior at Salve Regina University, pursuing Business Administration with minors in Finance and Economics, Josh has consistently excelled academically, maintaining Dean's List since freshman year. His practical experience includes roles at Palisade Capital Management, Epic Roofing and Exteriors, and Next Shift Network, where he honed his skills in business development, sales, and client relations. A current NCAA hockey player and team captain, Josh brings a strong work ethic, leadership, and teamwork skills to every endeavor. David is an author, advisor, and speaker specializing in innovation and business growth, with over 20 years of experience helping organizations navigate disruption, co-authoring influential books and articles, and advising Fortune 500 leaders.

A wealth of both public and private sector experience, coupled with a master’s degree in strategic foresight and innovation, firmly position JC - as we endearingly refer to him - as an effective primary and secondary researcher, with a side order of product designer. His experience as co-founder of a construction tech company speaks to his customer-centric approach, and informs his ability to effectively bring research and design expertise together.
