Our US-based client was looking to expand into adjacent industries and develop a vertical strategy. We focused on healthcare, and started with one of the largest problem statements we could find: healthcare billing fraud.
This costs the average US family $400-$700 per year in insurance premiums, and the total US market $183B per year. If we can solve healthcare billing fraud for payers, we can offer a solution with global impact and a multi-billion dollar annual total addressable market.
Through research, customer testing, executive interviews, prototyping, and cross-team collaboration we arrived at 3 prioritized solutions to solve healthcare billing fraud.
These were standalone disruptive solutions our client could build or partner to create and offer to the world. The result of our go / no-go decision meeting with the global CTO was to progress one of the concepts to a proof of concept build to validate our path to commercialization.
